On the shores of the Olentangy river; where football reigns supreme; where thousands of women love Buckeye Football as much as men do, an idea was hatched. An idea that what made women captivating was not simply what was on the outside. It was the things that women were passionate about that truly made them hot. From this idea 'Chicks Are Hot’™ was hatched.

In 2008 the Chicks Are Hot Team was assembled with the idea that the things that women are passionate about are the same things that make them captivating. This was a message that needed to be heard, and what better way to deliver this message than to allow the message to be worn! The Chicks Are Hot Team set out to create a line of clothing that would allow women to make a statement. ‘Chicks Are Hot’™ clothing allows women to make a statement that is fashionable and fun, not too serious; flirty, but not too sexy; yet allows you to let everyone know that you are more than just a pretty face. Being in Columbus, Ohio where Buckeye fever permeates the culture, the Chicks Are Hot Team quickly agreed that ‘Football Chicks Are Hot’! ™ And just like that, a product line was hatched. The incredible popularity of country music and seeing the crowds at country music concerts by Rascal Flatts (another Columbus connection), Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Kenny Chesney, made the team exclaim that ‘Country Chicks Are Hot’™! Just that easily, a second product line was hatched! It didn’t take long before proclamations of what was ‘hot’ were flowing effortlessly from the team. The list of ideas being converted to new product lines will be continuously expanded to allow women to express their wide ranging passions to the world around them.

After months of research, design, and development, the first production run was completed in February 2009 and the Chicks Are Hot Team moved into action. 'Chicks Are Hot'™ shirts are ready to be delivered to your door today!
